2025 has started with a bang I had a big project which ran through the end of 2024 and very start of this year so I was straight back into it!
January is a typical time for people to consider ‘New Year, New Me’, resolutions, changes to habits etc – and media of course is full of articles and tips on how to do it. I was delighted to be invited to speak and contribute The Home Reset's January declutter tips.
I was interviewed by Carol O Callaghan for The Irish Examiner – my first time appearing in that paper which was lovely – although I missed the actual publication it is available online - https://www.irishexaminer.com/property/homeandgardens/arid-41538479.html
Then another first I appeared on Newstalk on The Home Show with Sinead Ryan – it ran on January 4th and again is still available to listen back - https://www.newstalk.com/podcasts/the-home-show-with-sinead-ryan/insurance-increases-resetting-your-home-new-hobbies
I was back on with Suzanne Kane and Brian Dowling on 98FM – this is always a good time and lots of fun. I discussed January tips and tricks but also trends for 2025 which you’ll be able to read about in my other blog as I’ve covered it over there. https://www.thehomereset.ie/post/home-organisation-and-decluttering-trends-in-2025
Then I was interviewed by Niamh Maher for The Journal’s Home Magazine which was a real treat as we got to have a lovely in-depth chat and I love the piece she put together.
Finally, then I appeared in House and Home Magazine – a publication that I love and purchase every month so it felt great to be asked to be involved and speak to Roisin Carabine about my RESET methodology.
Also big shout out to Katie Kavanagh (https://katiekav.com/) the photographer that took the photos included on some of these articles!!
The overriding point that I made across every publication for January was to go easy on ourselves and not put ourselves under pressure to have Instagram homes but that we set ourselves small achievable goals for our spaces and that we go for it. The more we achieve our goals the more it will spur us on to keep going.
I hope you enjoy reading some of the pieces I was involved in – let me know what you thought!
